Covid-19 protocol

To Our Valued Guests of The Crooked Cue,

We have missed you! For almost 30 years, the mantra of The Crooked Cue restaurants has been to share our family’s hospitality with our neighbourhood. The circumstances of the past 18 months have prevented us from doing the things we love to do – interacting with all of you! The health and safety of our guests and staff have always been our number one priority. Our team has been working to ensure that we are taking every possible protocol to provide a safe environment to both guests and staff members. In accordance with local governments and health authorities we are implementing additional health and safety measures including:

Mandating that all guests adhere to The Crooked Cue safety protocol including mandatory proof of vaccination for every patron who enters, effective September 22, 2021 in keeping with Provincial Order.  Ontarians will be required to show their vaccine receipt when entering the establishment along with another piece of photo identification, such as a driver’s licence or health card. Effective October 22nd, Ontario will also introduce an enhanced digital vaccine receipt that features a QR code, which is safe, more secure and with you wherever you go. This digital vaccine receipt can be kept on a phone and easily used to show that you’ve been vaccinated if you need to. The province will launch this new app to make it easier and more convenient for businesses and organizations to read and verify that a digital vaccine receipt is valid, while protecting your privacy.

Active screening and rapid-testing (Etobicoke location) for every staff member prior to entry of the building.

Empowering our staff to remain at home should they display any symptoms or live with someone who does.

Operating at reduced capacity to respect the 6 feet of physical distancing and marking our venues clearly to denote smooth traffic flow within the facility. We have also installed permanent barriers where necessary to ensure safety.

Thoroughly sanitizing every point of contact in between each use and providing disposable options wherever possible, implementing the most rigorous and complete hygiene standards.

Implementing proper PPE including face shields and gloves (no bare hand to food contact) in the kitchen and masks for staff members on the front-line.

Hand washing hygiene of the strictest standards for staff members and hand sanitizing stations throughout the premises for staff and guests.

Menus are available on our website. Single-use menus are also available.

Please know that we are smiling under our masks and we are grateful and excited to welcome you back once again!
